Midwife’s Billing Service, Inc.
Midwife’s Billing Service, Inc. was born in March of 1997 and was purchased by CEO, Marnie Cabezas, in March of 1998. Together with an amazing staff, MBSI has grown and enhanced its abilities and services, and so, in 2016, Midwife’s Billing Service, Inc. chose the new name Innovation Billing Service, Inc. to better represent the wide variety of specialties we are able to serve as a billing and practice management company.
With a staff of diverse billing backgrounds, and the experience gained through years of professional and facility billing, Innovation Billing offers services to fit the needs, not only of midwives and birth centers (though that is still our specialty!), but also of ambulatory surgical centers, OB/GYNs, psychiatrists, naturopathic doctors, and general practice physicians, among other specialties.
We are proud of the fact that our clients consider us the backbone of their businesses and a major financial key to their practices’ survival. A great part of our success is due to the diverse backgrounds of the staff. Not only is the owner an experienced midwife, but the staff consists of experienced billers/coders, account coordinators, and many other specialists, ensuring that your claims, contracts, and patients all receive expert attention and care.
Innovation Billing Cares
Innovation takes pride in “midwifing” practices and patients through the billing process, but beyond our desire to provide excellent billing services, we also strive to be a caring business. We take pride in our employment practices and our involvement with progressive organizations and initiatives.
IB is a proud member and supporter of the American Association of Birthing Centers, an organization “dedicated to the promotion of the rights of healthy women and their families, in all communities, to birth their children in an environment which is safe, sensitive and economical with minimal intervention.”
We would love to see you at AABC’s Birth Institute and Annual Meeting; you can find us every year at our table in the exhibit hall, enjoying the fundraiser gala, and sometimes even presenting workshops or speaking at panels.
